if가정문에 대해서 질문이에요.
지난주 I'm convinced that...if,,,,구문에서 

If 현재형... S will 동사원형.-- 사실, 습관, 확정적인 미래.
If 과거형... S would 동사원형-- 상상, 만약의 미래.
라고 개인적으로 배운적이 있는데요.

이 부분을 적용해서 넣으면 될까요?

궁금한것이 있어서 질문드려요.
잘 이해가 안되는 부분이...
What time is it?  How many time do you work out  week? 같이 wh질문사뒤에 동사+주어 형태로 질문하는것과
It depends on what you want? 같이 wh질문사 다음에 주어+동사가 오는 형태가 있는데 
어떻게 구분해서 사용하는걸까요?

제 예문 2번째 줄 ..between by... 가 저에게는 어색한데요. 이렇게 전치사가 겹쳐지면 안 되는 거죠?

Here in Canada, Soju is very expensive 이 문장 너무 좋고, 앞에 compared to Korea(한국이랑 비교해봤을때) 이런 문장을 덧붙여도 좋겠다란 생각이 들었어요. 영어연습하기에 도움이 되니까

-> 여기서 fluently는 '유창하게'란 뜻이라서 차라리 Make sure to practice English everyday to speak fluently(유창하게 말할 수 있게 매일 영어를 연습해라)라고 하는게 더 좋겠는걸요~?

even though boomer is not wrong 요기 even though 선택 너무 좋았고, 저는 even though I know boomer is not wrong 이라고 I know를 넣어줬을거 같다 생각해요. 나는 그걸 알지만서도 꼰대는 안 되려고 한다란 느낌이니까? 물론 I know 없어도 됩니다! 이건 선택의 문제!

If 현재형... S will 동사원형.-- 사실, 습관, 확정적인 미래. If 과거형... S would 동사원형-- 상상, 만약의 미래. 라고 개인적으로 배운적이 있는데요. 이 부분을 적용해서 넣으면 될까요?
-> 아주 좋은 질문이고 사실 여기서는 '과거'를 그냥 의미합니다. I was convinced 하면서 과거시제가 앞에 오면 뒤에 있는 if문장들도 과거쓰고, will 대신 would 쓴 거라 보시면 됩니다~ 이걸 원어민들이 '상상'이 아니라고 알 수 있는 이유는 I was convinced가 앞에 붙어있기 때문이에요. 그럼 듣는 사람은 "아 그 시절에 확신을 가지고 그랬다는 거구나" 라고 듣지 "아 상상하는 거구나"로 듣지 않습니다!

그래서
I'm firmly convinced that I would get better at English if I studied hard and long enough.
-> 요걸 미래의 상상으로 표현하신 거 같은데 사실 이때는 will, study를 쓰는게 더 좋습니다! 앞에랑 시제를 맞춰주는거죠~ 밑에 positive that도 마찬가지구요!

-> He we be fired는 잘 썼는데 a job보다는 from a job이 더 낫겠네요~! '회사로부터' 짤리는 거니까요!

He was given some letters for celebrate the his promotion.
-> 여기서 for 뒤에 celebrate라는 동사가 왔어요! for 뒤에는 -ing가 와야해서 for celebrating이 더 어울립니다! 이 문장은 차라리 He was given some letters for his promotion 이렇게 쓰면 참 담백하고, 깔끔하게 잘 전달됩니다! 만약 celebrate를 쓰고 싶다면 to celebrate가 되어야 합니다!

-> 마찬가지로 너무 잘 썼습니다. 근데 exist는 in을 함께 써줘야 힘이 나는애라  that aliens exist in other galaxy 이렇게 쓰면 더 좋겠네요!

아 No matter how hard study English is, I'm going to keep going 이 표현 저도 비슷하게 캐나다에서 정말 많이 입에 붙였던 표현이라 더 와닿고 무슨 마음이지 알겠네요.

지난달에 비해 이미 멋지게 성장한 지연! 이번달도 이대로만 keep going and keep up the good work 해보자구요!


[예문 피드백]
제 예문 2번째 줄 ..between by... 가 저에게는 어색한데요. 이렇게 전치사가 겹쳐지면 안 되는 거죠?
-> 나 이거 너무 칭찬해. 진짜 영어를 이해하고, 자연스럽게 받아들이려고 하는 과정에서 온 질문이라 영쌤은 아주 뿌듯합니다. 결론부터 말하면 가능합니다! 조금 더 정확하게 하려면 between by train and by plane 이라고 해주면 돼요. (물론 구어체에서는 by plane을 plane이라 써도 알아 들을겁니다) 이건 앞에 travel이란 단어에 붙는거라 travel by train or travel by plane 이 문장을 between으로 묶어준거라 생각하면 돼요! 그래서 between 뒤에 by가 와도 됩니다!
