Are you on instagram? Yeah~ i’m on. But, I’m more of a lurker. I’m just browsing on instagram. So my account is not much to see. How about you? How much time do you spend social media a day? Haha same here. I use it sometimes, not too much. Maybe about an hour? Mostly to check updates or messages. Oh~I see. Honestly I think negativly about social media. It’s so addictive. once you start using it, it’s hard to stop. what do you think about social media? I agree. But it has pros and cons. It's like a double-edged sword. I think balance is the key.

Something came up, so I can’t attend the class. We set up the tent before it rained. Let’s wrap up the class for today. Drink up your water before we leave. Yu rim, Eat up your vegetables. We ate up everything, and even got dessert. They decided to break up after five years together. He finally showed up on stage. A message popped up on my phone. She didn’t turn up for the class. Can you trun up the volume?

Did you have a nice long weeken? Yes, i did. I had a nice long weekend. Oh really? So, what did you do during the long weeken? I went on a short trip with my in-laws. Oh~ where did you go for a trip? Have you ever heard of 영종도? Yes. I've heard of it. Is there incheon international Airport in 영종도? Right? Yeah~ right. I went there. Wow, that sounds fun! (( That must've been fun!/I bet you had a great time)) Do you have any pictures? Show me some pictures. 1 번 umm…I don't have many pictures. It rained almost the whole time. So we mostly stayed at the pension 2번 umm..I didn’t take many photos, because it was raining most of the time. So we just stayed at the pension. 3번 umm.. unfortunately I don't have many pictures. It kept raining.. so we couldn’t go out much. That’s too bad. Yeah~but I had a good time catching up with my family. 추석 went by so fast. How about you? I just got some rest. Nothing special~. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Do you have any siblings? Yes, I have a younger brother. Are you k-장녀?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Yes, i amㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ How old is he? He is 3 years younger than me. (He is 35 years old.) Oh~ do you get along with him? Umm… we didn’t get along very well when we were kids.. but we’re closer now. Sometimes I call to ask he is alive.

가족과 잘 지내니? 라는 질문에 답할때 기혼자는 지금의 가족, 즉 배우자와 자녀 혹은 본가 (부모님과 형제 남매) 를 생각할 수도 있자나요? 어떤 가족과의 관계를 묻는건지는 어떻게 질문해야할까요??? 2번째 예문 마지막에 어렸을때 잘지내진않았는데 그래도 지금은 그때보다는 친하다 라는 느낌으로 문장을 만들고 싶은데 어떻게 표현할까요? 정말 가끔씩 살아는 있는지 한번씩 전화하는 정도??ㅋㅋ There’re 과…there의 발음차이가 있나요?? 분명 예문 만들고 연습하면서 궁금했던게 좀 많았는데…적어놓질않았더니 생각이 안나네요…ㅠㅠ 근데 예문대화 만드는거 재밌네요>.< 써놓고보니 어려운 단어도 없고 이렇게나 쉬운 문장인데 왜 입밖으로 꺼낼땐 백지가 될까요

How much time do you spend social media a day? -> spend 뒤에 on만 써주면 perfect! once you start using it, it’s hard to stop. -> 어우 너무 깔끔하게 잘 썼는데요~? 입에 잘 붙여보기! 전체적으로 문장이 정말 좋습니다!

내가 인스타 팔로우해도 돼? 했을때 좋게 거절하는 영어 표현 있을까요? -> 우선 한국에서는 이때 어떻게 거절해야 나이스할까요~? 사실 저는 한국어로도 어떻게 나이스하게 거절해야할지 모르겠습니다. 그래서 영어로도 비슷할 거예요. 인스타 팔로우 해도된다고 할때는 어떤식으로 거절해도 나이스하기가 어렵다 생각이 드네요. 그나마 쓸 수 있는건 Sorry, I have an private account and I'm not really active on Instagram. 이 정도가 아닐까 싶습니다! 좀 더 직접적으로는 Sorry, I don’t really share my account 정도도 되겠네요~ 결론! 나이스하긴 쉽지 않다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 나머진 예문도 다 좋습니다! 잘하셨습니다

[예문 피드백] I went on a short trip with my in-laws. -> parents 빠졌다~ So we mostly stayed at the pension -> 기본적으로 숙소는 호텔이 아니어도 hotel이라고 하는 경우가 많아요~ 그래서 stayed at the hotel 혹은 stayed at our accomdation 이라고 해도 되겠네요~ pension이라고는 원어민들 잘 안 씁니다! 아쉽다를 That's too bad로 잘 써줬는데요~? [질문 피드백] 가족과 잘 지내니? 라는 질문에 답할때 기혼자는 지금의 가족, 즉 배우자와 자녀 혹은 본가 (부모님과 형제 남매) 를 생각할 수도 있자나요? 어떤 가족과의 관계를 묻는건지는 어떻게 질문해야할까요??? -> 쉽게는 You mean, with my husand and daughter or with my parents? 이렇게 물어보면 됩니다! 본가라는 단어가 영어에는 없기 때문에 저렇게 질문해줄 수 있죠. 혹은 대답할 때 Because I'm married, I have two families. one with my husband and kind and another one with my parents and siblings 라고 할 수도 있겠네요. 조금 더 직역체를 쓴다면 Well, do you mean my current family or my parents’ family? 이렇게 전달할 수도 있습니다! 2번째 예문 마지막에 어렸을때 잘지내진않았는데 그래도 지금은 그때보다는 친하다 라는 느낌으로 문장을 만들고 싶은데 어떻게 표현할까요? -> 일단 지금 We didn’t get along very well when we were kids. But we’re closer now. 이렇게 쓰신건 아주 잘 하셨습니다. 사실 이대로만 써도 괜찮아요. 굳이 제가 만든다면 Back then we didn't get along very well, but we're closer now than before 이렇게 쓸 거 같은데 거의 차이가 없죠~ 잘하셨어요! Sometimes I call to ask he is alive 여기서는 우리가 배운 단어 하나만 넣으면 됩니다! 바로 if에요. Sometimes I call to ask if he is alive 라고 쓰면 "그가 살았는지 죽었는지" 라는 어감으로 자연스럽게 전달됩니다! 아우 잘했다
